Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Just4Dogs Limited. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Dog Walking

1.1 Meet & Greet

All new clients must complete an initial consultation prior to services commencing. This allows us to assess suitability and discuss your dog’s routine and needs.

1.2 Group Walks

  • A maximum of four dogs will be walked at any one time.
  • Dogs must be well-socialised and non-aggressive.
  • Just4Dogs Limited reserves the right to refuse or withdraw services if a dog displays unsafe behaviour.

1.3 Puppy Walking Policy

Walk duration for puppies follows veterinary guidance of approximately five minutes per month of age, up to twice daily. Additional supervision requirements may affect pricing.

1.4 Collection & Transport

  • Collection and return to your home are included in the price.
  • Dogs are transported securely in crash-tested crates or restrained with a canine seat belt and harness.

1.5 Access to Property

  • Clients must ensure safe and reliable access to the property.
  • If access cannot be gained due to key issues, lock malfunction, or the dog not being present, the full walk fee will apply.

1.6 Cancellations

  • A minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
  • Cancellations within 12 hours will be charged at 50% of the scheduled fee.

1.7 Health & Vaccination

Owners confirm that dogs:

  • Are fully vaccinated
  • Are regularly treated for fleas, ticks and worms
  • Are in good health

Any medical conditions must be disclosed prior to booking.

1.8 Liability

While every care is taken, dogs are walked off the owner’s premises at their own risk. Just4Dogs Limited is insured but cannot be held responsible for illness, injury or loss arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control.

2. Dog Sitting in Your Home

2.1 Booking & Deposit

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure booking dates.
  • The remaining balance is payable prior to the start date unless otherwise agreed.

2.2 Cancellations

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the start date will incur an additional 20% charge, bringing the total charge to 50% of the booking fee.

2.3 Service Provision

Overnight sitting includes:

  • Two walks per day
  • Feeding according to routine
  • Overnight stay in the client’s home

Unless otherwise agreed, dogs will not be left alone for more than three hours within any 24-hour period.

2.4 Property & Household Duties

  • Sitters are responsible for the care of your dog only.
  • General house cleaning is not included.
  • Bins may be placed out if prepared in advance and may incur an additional charge.

2.5 Medication

  • Written authorisation is required for administration of prescribed medication.
  • Flea, tick and worming treatments are not administered.
  • Dogs with medical needs must be assessed prior to booking and may incur additional charges.

2.6 Emergencies

In the event of illness or injury, Just4Dogs Limited will:

  • Attempt to contact the owner immediately
  • Seek veterinary treatment if required

All veterinary fees remain the responsibility of the owner.

3. General Terms (Applies to All Services)

3.1 Insurance

Just4Dogs Limited holds appropriate public liability insurance.

3.2 DBS & Training

All team members are DBS-checked and trained in Canine First Aid.

3.3 Behaviour & Safety

Just4Dogs Limited reserves the right to suspend services if a dog presents a safety risk to itself, other dogs or the handler.

3.4 Payment Terms

Payment terms will be confirmed at booking. Late payments may result in suspension of services.

3.5 Resident Parking

Where a property is located within a controlled parking zone or an area where parking charges apply, clients are responsible for arranging suitable parking for representatives of Just4Dogs Limited, including any dog walker or sitter, for the full duration of the service.

This includes providing a valid visitor’s permit where required by the local authority or covering all parking costs incurred. Parking arrangements must be in place prior to the commencement of services.

Any parking charges, permits, or fines resulting from a failure to provide appropriate parking arrangements will be the clients’ responsibility.

3.6 Key Handling Policy

Where Just4Dogs Limited is entrusted with keys, alarm codes or access devices:

  • Keys will be stored securely and separately from identifying address details.
  • Keys will be labelled with a coded reference only.
  • Alarm codes will be stored securely and confidentially.
  • Keys will never be duplicated without written permission.
  • In the event of loss, clients will be informed immediately.

Just4Dogs Limited accepts responsibility for keys while in our possession but cannot be held liable for security breaches resulting from faulty locks, third-party access, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Clients may request return of keys at any time.

3.7 Changes to Terms

Just4Dogs Limited reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will be available on the website.
